As dog training therapy becomes more and more accepted as a means of helping patients recover from their ailments faster, there are now many hospitals and clinics that facilitates dog visitation. Children’s hospitals are specifically very open to the idea of dog visitation. Children and dogs belong to each other thus a visit from their dogs could really kids cope better with their illness. Labradors are usually used as ambassador dogs because they are very friendly, well-adjusted and wonderful with children. According to experts, the Labrador is very mild tempered and it is neither aggressive nor territorial. Unlike some other big dogs, the Labradors are most likely to befriend strangers than snarl or intimidate them. Furthermore, the Labradors are easy to train thus making them very suitable for dog training therapy.
