Dogs only get a bit annoyed, and they learn how to avoid that eventually. Note: This type of no bark collar is considered the least effective, as the dog can become used to the sound over time.
Electronic No Bark Dog Collars
These collars work by delivering a small electrical shock to the dog’s neck whenever it starts barking. The shock isn’t painful, it’s similar to what you feel when you handle fabrics or walk over a rug. Once again, mostly just an annoyance – but this is the type of no bark collar that some people believe is unethical. This one isn’t just an annoyance; it physically does something to the dog. And well, some people think that’s not ok. Does the electronic no bark collar work? Usually it works great – so consider it an option if you have a barking dog.
